Who We Are
MCA Orals Papers was founded by Ben Barker, a serving Chief Officer and holder of the Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency.
Ben has progressed through the full MCA examination pathway — OOW, Chief Mate, and Master — and knows first-hand how challenging the oral exams can be. While preparing for his own orals, he developed a structured system of categorised past papers and examiner notes to focus his revision. That very system became the foundation of MCA Orals Papers and was key in helping him succeed in passing his Master’s exams.
Now, the same proven study method is available to other seafarers, offering a single organised database to help candidates prepare with confidence.
